Responsibility in
the Details.
Responsible physical trading depends on clear standards for people, counterparties, product quality and the environment.
Practical Controls.
Accountable Decisions.
Our policies set the standards for how we assess counterparties, structure transactions, work with service providers and protect information. Responsibilities follow the relevant contracting entity and the work it undertakes.
Environmental considerations are part of transaction planning: spill prevention, safe handling, waste management, product integrity and the responsible use of resources where we can exert influence.
Safety and Quality
Through Execution.
The HSSE and Product Quality Policy addresses competent service providers, appropriate equipment, agreed specifications, inspection and incident response. Operational parties retain their own responsibilities for safe and lawful performance.
Requirements should be proportionate to the product, route, facility and actual risks. Concerns and exceptions must be escalated through the relevant commercial and operational contacts.
Our Standards.
